The attendees of this year's congress were able to enjoy 3 wonderfully sunny days. But not just the north German sun lead to a good mood, it's always good to meet "old contacts" and to make new ones.

Diverse lectures showed visitors new insights and perspectives, not only on the main topic of "convergence, communication and consumer-advertising and mediums in the "attention society"" but also on market research in general.

The CCH (Congress Center Hamburg) was a very appealing setting and was only topped by the location of the gala evening. In the "Curio-Haus" on the Rothenbaumchaussee, the winners of the German Market Research prizes 2008 were announced. After the gala dinner, the "nattering" and dancing went on until the wee small hours.

The position of the ODC Services Internet Lounge was practical, as it was situated right next to the catering area so whoever fancied it, could dine or go online.

Our promised surprise attracted plenty of football enthusiasts and several of which took part in the ODC EURO-Quiz. They were able play or eat canapé, so to speak.
