Presence and future of online research
(April, 5th, 2007)
At this years' BVM congress some very interesting impulse papers about the "presence and future of online research" are expected.
Christoph Irmer, managing director of ODC Services GmbH, together with Dr. Karin Dürr, Andera Gadeib, Elisabeth Altendorfer, Dr. Thomas Rodenhausen and Boris van Heesen, will speak about these topics on friday 29th of june at the BVM in Frankfurt.

ODC Services GmbH announces the launch of its new international online omnibus. The ODCOmnibus runs on a monthly basis amongst a national representative sample and is available in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and UK.

GENERAL ONLINE RESEARCH '07
(January, 25th, 2007)
The 9th International GOR Conference 2007 will take place in March, 26-28th, at the University of Leipzig, Germany. Conference topics include theories, methods, and findings concerning social and business aspects of the Internet and mobile communication.
The aim of the conference is to document the progress of Internet science, innovative developments, and practical experience.
Of course, ODC Services will be there to share experiences and ideas.

New Senior Sales Manager (December, 28th, 2006)
From January, the first, 2007, 30 year old Robert Stolpa will join ODC Services as
Senior Sales Manager. He will be responsible for Business Development in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Prior to joining ODC, he was Senior Account
Manager at StepStone AG (Düsseldorf).
ODC exhibits at the ESOMAR Panel Research Conference in Barcelona (November, 30th, 2006)
From November 28th to 29th the annual ESOMAR Panel Research Conference took place in Barcelona. As one of the exhibitors, ODC Services discussed and presented the latest developments in Panel Research with clients and prospects from all over the world.
Christoph Bender, Panel Manager at ODC Services said: "We think the conference was very interesting and we enjoyed to share our thoughts and ideas on various panel research topics with delegates and marketeers."
Research & Results 2006 - ODC at Germany's first Research Trade Fair (November, 23th, 2006)
The German research magazine Research & Results hosted the first German trade fair for market research.
The event took place in Munich on the 15th and 16th of November and ODC Services welcomed many customers and prospects at its booth to present and discuss the latest trends and developments in ODC's proprietary panels and the scope of services offered to our clients.
"We found it was a very successful and interesting event" says Christoph Irmer, Managing Director of ODC Services. "We want to thank the visitors for their interest in ODC and of course Research & Results for the organisation."
The impact of panel-quality on the results of online surveys - a case study (October, 30th, 2006)
Christoph Irmer (Managing Director, ODC Services GmbH) and Frank Kliegel (Key Account Manager, MediaAnalyzer Software GmbH) presented the results of a study on above mentioned topic on the NEON-Plenum in Hamburg on October 27th.

Because Quality Matters - quality and online access panels (October, 6th, 2006)
As online panels are becoming more and more important and there are new companies entering the market day by day, purchasers as well as providers of online access panels raise concerns about the quality of online panels and the importancy of quality management in panel companies. Christoph Irmer had a speech on this topic at the MRS Online Research Conference which took place in London on October, 3rd, 2006.

ODC is going to train apprentices (July, 28th, 2006)
From this year on, there is a new official apprenticeship as market- and social researcher in Germany. It requires 3 years of training to become "Fachangestellte/r für Markt- und Sozialforschung". ODC services is going to offer in-firm training to young people.

ODC launches new website (July, 21st, 2006)
We changed the design and restructured the content of our website www.odc-services.com. The new website has the goal to be more customer friendly and can be displayed without flash-plugins and javascript, as these plugins are blocked by some companies firewalls. Furthermore the new site is valid HTML 4.01 Transitional, meeting the W3C standards.
